The added MAXBRUSH allows for precise application, ensuring that the waterproofing material is pushed deeply into pinholes, hairline cracks, and other small gaps up to 3mm wide that might otherwise be missed with a roller. 
How to apply Drizoro Maxseal ® Flex-M 15Kg HandiPak
To make the most of the new features and to achieve these excellent results from the Drizoro Maxseal ® Flex-M 15kg HandiPak, you must first understand how to properly optimise your waterproofing product.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to positive or negative-side waterproofing:
Surface preparation:
- The surface to be coated must be sound, clean, and free of loose materials.
- Any damage or concrete defect like holes, voids, honeycombs, and cracks should also be repaired in advance using MAXREST® .
- Since Drizoro Maxseal ® Flex-M 15kg HandiPak can only be applied to a wet surface, no primer or other product is required prior to its application.
Application:
- Apply MAXSEAL® FLEX-M 15Kg HandiPak using the included MAXBRUSH to spread a homogeneous and continuous coating with a thickness of 1mm approximately.
- Apply the first coat at a rate of 1 – 1.5 kg/m2. Allow a drying time of a minimum of 6 hours and a maximum of 24 hours, then apply the second coat in a perpendicular direction between coats for a total consumption of 2 – 3 kg/m2.
- Apply the first coat using Maxbrush to the wet wall. The second coat. Use texture roller for a textured finish.
Curing:
- Curing time for putting into service and water immersion is 5 days at 20ºC and 50% R.H. Take note that applications at lower temperatures or higher R.H. will increase the curing time.
- In the case where tanks are used for potable water, once MAXSEAL® FLEX-M 15kg Handipak is cured, wash the surface with water at low pressure before filling.
