How to Seal joints – Drizoro Maxjoint Elastic Express
Method
1. Prepare the area to be treated by removing any loose materials ensuring a clean and sound
surface.
2. Ensure the joint is not larger than 30mm, and not smaller than 10mm
3. The depth of the joint must be no less than 10mm and ½ the width of joints greater than
10mm wide.
4. Place backing rod or bond breaker (tape) to control depth.
5. Thoroughly wet surface.
6. Prime the sides of the joint with component A (liquid) of MAXJOINT ELASTIC.
7. Mix component A (liquid) and component B (powder) in equal proportions, as per technical
bulletin 156:01.
8. Apply MAXJOINT ELASTIC to the void using a spatula or caulking gun (e.g. Svenic Tuck Pointing Mortar Gun)
9. Excess Drizoro Maxjoint Elastic Express can be wiped off using a damp sponge.
