Very FAST Rapid Cure System for multiple Wet Areas | Bathrooms | Balconies tanking using the “RAPID CURE SYSTEM”
The Rapid Cure System application method or system allows a 2 member team to finish 15 standard bathrooms in 3 days
SealTuff Products required
P.U. Rapid Cure Mastic Joint Sealant – joint sealer mastic
P.U. Rapid Cure Primer
S.P.U. Rapid Cure -UV Thixotropic
7C FILTER SAND-0.56-0.70mm UC<=1.5
WPU12- Under Tile – Water based, fibred under tile.
CAUTION: – ENSURE DRY SURFACE
Method:
1. Prepare area to be coated by scraping, to remove any loose materials ensuring a clean and sound surface, free from efflorescence, laitance, organic growth and other contaminants.
2. Any damage to the masonry surfaces should be repaired using Drizoro Maxrest.
3. Continue cleaning until approx. half way through the scheduled number of areas. Finish cleaning –1 team member to fall back and commence application and tooling off, of Rapid Cure Mastic to floor/wall joint areas and around pipe penetrations in wall/floor.
4. Apply Rapid Cure Primer as soon as Mastic is tack free (approx.. 40 minutes) Cleaning completed, Team members to work independently with Rapid Cure Primer application.
5. Apply RapidCure -UV Thixotropic, using a 15mm nap roller or brush as soon as Rapid Cure Primer is “tack free” (approx..40min.) This can be applied in a single coat at the minimum thickness of 1.0-1.2mm if not pushed out.
Apply up to 100mm on walls.
6. Evenly cast sand into the finished, applied membrane to provide better “grip” for finishing applications.
Allow to cure.(Minimum 4-6hrs-Maximum 36hrs)
7. Apply SealTuff – WPU12 Water based or RapidCure -UV Thixotropic on walls, when completed flood test floor.
