Therma Barrier

Therma Barrier is a formula of Silicone/ceramic microspheres in a styrene, latex, acryl, water emulsion base with a guaranteed lifespan of 15 years, forming an elastic Polymeric Hyperfine Thermal, anti-fungal coating. Reduces energy absorption/emission by 30 % reducing running and maintenance cost.
Can be applied to any surface (except Polyethelene), requiring thermal insulation from -60 ºC to + 260 ºC
Can be formulated to protect Boilers, fireboxes, furnaces, Pizza Ovens, coating of trays or boxes used for draining ferrous or non-ferrous metals requiring heat proofing 1500 ºC or above.
For use on external or internal surfaces, roofs, facades, ducting etc.

Applications

The proportion is 1 part (weight) Alumina Cement

To 2 part of Therma Barrier powder (weight)     =  150ºC

To  3 parts of Therma Barrier powder (weight)  =  600ºC

To 4 parts of Therma Barrier powder (weight)   =1000ºC

To 5 parts of Therma Barrier powder (weight)   =1500ºC

 

Mix thoroughly add water to suit and apply in single coating to a damp substrate for fireproofing walls. Or mastic to fill void etc.
