Maxpatch Repair Mortar for restoration or repair of industrial concrete flooring

 Drizoro Maxpatch Mortar for the repair of industrial concrete floors with advanced mechanical characteristics that allows it to be used in the restoration or repair of industrial concrete floors, ramps, steps etc. Maxpatch has good adhesion, is resistant to abrasion and is non-slip. Included are two components; the first a cement powder, the second a liquid resin. Mix both powder and liquid together.

Repair Mortars such as Drizoro Maxpatch  are used for:

  • For restoration of industrial roads.
  • repair restoration of industrial concrete paving
  • To patch eroded concrete floors or to raise the height.
  • For non-slip ramp constructions – it is resistant to traffic.
  • repair concrete ramps and steps.

How to repair of industrial concrete floors

Preparation of  the surface.

Remove all disintegrated concrete so that only solid structure remains. Box in patches or isolated areas to limit their perimeter. Cover expansion joints with at least 3 cm in thickness.

Use water under pressure to clean the concrete. Use ConcreKleen to remove pollution and oils by saturating the surface with the solution for 10 minutes and then cleaning with water under pressure. Repeat until all the oil is removed.   (with the first application)

Mixing Drizoro Maxpatch

Place Maxcryl resin in a clean container and then add Drizoro Maxpatch. Mix to a creamy grout consistency and prime the treatment area with a brush. Prepare a semi dry mixture using approximately 4 – 4.5 litres of Maxcryl resin for every 25 Kg of Drizoro Maxpatch powder.
Do not overmix.
Lay the Maxpatch with a steel float without applying too much pressure. Do not over trowel.

Lay Maxpatch in layers not greater than 2.5 cm thick if required.  Scratch the undercoat and lay the following coats within 30 minutes.

For a thickness of greater than 5 cm, mix 25 kg of powder with 10 kg. of clean shingle. The MAXCRYL can be diluted 50/50 with water.

Laying time.

Maxpatch:- Use immediately after mixing. Complete final levelling in not more than 20 minutes

Working Tools.

Use a paintbrush, Maxbrush or Tampico fibre brush for priming. Use a steel float for laying, without applying too much pressure.

Applications 

Apply the Drizoro Maxpatch with a steel float without applying too much pressure. Do not over trowel. Lay Drizoro Maxpatch in layers not more than 25mm thick. Scratch coat the surface between layers.  Greater thickness requires subsequent layers within 30 minutes. Drizoro Maxpatch must be applied immediately after mixing and final levelling must be completed within 20 minutes.

Recommendations and CAUTIONS 

Drizoro Maxpatch is for the repair of industrial concrete floors and paving and should not be used on asphalt surfaces, anti-dust paints or metal supports.
DO NOT apply to surfaces below 5 degrees Celsius. Or lower temperatures are expected. Within the following 24 hours after application.

CONSUMPTION

Consumption is 2.0 Kg /m2 and 1mm. thickness. The following table shows indicative surfaces for different thicknesses and amounts of material required.
